Benzene prices in Europe Slip.

Petrotahlil :On Tuesday, spot benzene prices edged lower in Europe. Prices fell, mainly on account of bearish upstream energy values coupled with weaker regional demand trends.

A drop in downstream SM rates and bearish benzene values in Asia, further pressured prices lower in Europe.

FOB Rotterdam benzene prices, were assessed down at the USD 680/mt FOB Rotterdam levels, a day on day fall of USD 5/mt.

Downstream SM prices, were assessed lower at the USD 950/mt FOB Rotterdam levels, a drop of USD 5/mt from Monday’s assessed levels.

In Asia, benzene prices on Tuesday, were assessed lower at the 685/mt FOB Korea levels, a day on day fall of USD 10/mt.
