Thai producer cuts local PE prices

Petrotahlil - According to a trader in Thailand, a local producer reduced its local PE prices by THB1000/ton ($32/ton) when compared to last week.

The producer’s recent PE offers currently stand at THB38000/ton ($1197/ton) for LDPE film and at THB37000/ton ($1165/ton) for LLDPE and at THB39000/ton ($1228/ton) for HDPE film, all on an FD Thailand, cash equivalent basis.

Demand remains poor while supplies are comfortable. We think prices may witness additional losses in the days ahead, the trader opined.
