BUTADIENE PRICES BOLSTER HIGHER IN ASIA.

Petrotahlil - Last week, butadiene prices bolstered higher in Asia. The sharp price rise was triggered by stronger buying sentiments coupled with limited product availability in key markets like China.

Firmer upstream ABS pricing trends, further supported the price gain.

On Friday, FOB Korea prices of butadiene were assessed at the USD 665/mt, while CFR South East Asia prices were assessed at the USD 640/mt levels, both spike USD 55/mt from the last week.

CFR China prices of butadiene were assessed at the USD 675/mt levels, a week on week surge of USD 60/mt.
