Iran’s non-oil exports increase 17%

Petrotahlil :According to the latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran’s non-oil exports experienced 17-percent rise in terms of weight in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-October 22).

According to the data, some 79.5 million tons of commodities worth $24.5 billion were exported from Iran in the mentioned period, indicating a 17-percent rise in terms of weight and an 11.3-percent fall in terms of value.

The value of non-oil imports to Iran stood at $25 billion in the seven-month period, down 5.3 percent comparing to same period last year.

During the period, Iran imported 19.8 million tons of commodities, registering a three-percent rise in terms of weight.

China, Iraq, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Turkey were the top four export destinations of Iranian products, while China, UAE, Turkey, India, and Germany were the five major exporters of goods to Iran in the first seven months of the current year.
